Lima - Nazca            - Lima            2 Days /                1 Night

This tour allows you to visit the 3 most important tourist attractions located south of Lima: We begin this journey travelling to Paracas aboard a comfortable tourist bus. At Paracas enjoy a boat excursion to the Ballestas Islands, a wonderful array of small islands where you will see dozens of sea lions and hundreds of marine birds including Humboldt penguins, pelicans, boobies and many others marine species. Then we take you to the small city of Nazca where you will board a small plane to fly over a bizarre desert where 2000 years ago ancient Peruvians drew huge figures and etched hundreds of lines, now known as “The Nazca Lines".

Day 1: Lima – Paracas & Ballestas – Nazca.

03:00 a.m. We will pick up you from your hotel in Lima and then transfer to the bus station where you will board the comfortable Cruzero Bus service. A 3hours drive will take you to the bay of Paracas where upon arrival our local guide will meet and transfer you to the Paracas port where you will board a speed boat to visit the Ballestas Islands for 2 hours. During the shared boat excursion you will see many attractions including a huge design etched on the slope of a hill. This is known by the local people as The Candelabra, a huge figure that can be seen clearly from the sea. Afterwards, we will continue our excursion around the Ballestas Islands, where you will observe hundreds of birds (Peruvian Bobbies, Pelicans, Cormorants and many more) flying above the Islands. A colony of sea lions will be on the shore of the beaches, and if you are lucky you also can see the famous Humboldt Penguins and dolphins swimming nearby. While landing on the islands is prohibited, incredible views of the fauna can be seen aboard the boat. After our visit to the islands, by land we will explore some beautiful areas of the Paracas National Reserve and the interpretation center. Later, at the city of Ica we will visit the vineyards of Pisco (a grape brandy) and the Huacachina oasis where huge white sand dunes surrounding the lagoon are perfect for practicing sand boarding. Then with a shared public transport we continue our trip to Nazca. Overnight in a comfortable 3-star hotel.

Day 2: Nazca Lines flight - Lima

At 08:00 a.m. you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the airdrome of Nazca. Prior the flight you will watch an interesting documentary film which lasts about 40 minutes and involves great information about the Nazca Culture. During the aerial tour you will see an impressive representation of a monkey, a whale, a spider, a hummingbird, a parrot, a condor, geometrical shapes and hundreds of straight lines crisscrossing the Nazca desert. At the end of the tour you will be transferred to the bus station to take a comfortable bus to the City of Lima where you will arrive approximately at 20:30 h.
